Following the Tournament of Power, a mysterious figure named Fu, who after kidnapping Future Trunks, lures Goku and Vegeta to the Prison Planet, an experimental area which Fu created and has filled with strong warriors from different planets and eras in order to force them into a game where they must collect the seven Special Dragon Balls if they wish to escape with their lives. The Prison Planet was only the beginning of Fu's experiments... Based on the experimental data collected at the Prison Planet, Fu finally begins his real experiment! What is Fu's real goal, and what is his real power? Goku and companions from 'Dark Demon Realm Mission' and 'Universe Mission' appear! An experiment involving the whole universe and space-time! After Fu's defeat, warriors and fighters from all over the space-time gather to participate in the Super Space-Time Tournament planned by Aeos, the former Supreme Kai of Time. Goku and his allies will face very powerful opponents. After that tournament, Goku and his allies deal with Majin Ozotto, a being who aims to absorb every creature and planet in the universe to gain their power.

The humid air of the training grounds hung heavy with the scent of ozone and crushed earth. Gohan stood still, his glasses cracked from the sheer pressure radiating off his body. Before him loomed Cell Max, a grotesque monstrosity that dwarfed even the original Cell in size and menace. The creature roared, a sound that shook the very foundations of the hidden base. Piccolo's voice cut through the chaos, urging Gohan to let go of restraint. In that moment, the scholar vanished, replaced by a warrior whose aura burned with a violet hue unlike any seen before. He didn't just fight; he unleashed a storm of instinct, proving that the blood of the Saiyan prince still ran hot enough to burn away the darkness.

Reader's Guide

The arc begins as Dr. Hedo and his reformed Red Ribbon Army launch an assault on Capsule Corporation, stealing vital bio-data to perfect their ultimate weapon. While Goku and Vegeta are absent due to a space tournament, the Earth's defense falls to Gohan and Piccolo. The villains reveal Cell Max, a massive bio-android designed to be unstoppable, which quickly overwhelms the Z-Fighters.

Gohan, initially hesitant about returning to combat, is forced into action when his son Pan and other allies are threatened by the chaos. As the battle intensifies, Gohan unlocks his new 'Beast' transformation, a state triggered by pure rage and the desire to protect. This form allows him to overpower Cell Max with devastating speed and power.

The climax sees Piccolo merging with Kami's energy to assist in the final blow, while Gohan delivers the finishing strike that destroys the monster. The saga concludes with the defeat of the Red Ribbon Army, a renewed respect for Gohan's strength among his peers, and a clear demonstration that the next generation is ready to stand as Earth's primary guardians.
